Journal page

The time I spend with my journal is usually solitary time, so imagine my delight to have found sketching buddies. There were four of us on our most recent play date, and I did a quick sketch of one of my playmates. Good food, fun conversation, and I got to play with my art supplies. What more can a girl really ask for?

This sketch was done entirely on location. Pen and watercolor pencils.

Hi, Elizabeth, your sketch is so beautiful. It's really great to spend time with friends and create something you love. :)

Hi Elizabeth, great sketch! I really love your weblog and all the art you're making, thanks for the book titles (looking now for "Tell the wolves I'm home" in the library, unfortunatelly not available). You did a great healthy job in 2012, One of my goals for 2013 is to do sports on a more regular base, last night I started my volleyball training and almost got me a lash in my right leg :(( It's funny to read that we have some things in common, like books, travel, art and also red wine and chocolate!!!
Your weblog is favorite for me now, so I'll visit you regularly.
Have a nice day, best wishes from the Netherlands, Nadia

One could not ask for anything more. I like your sketch. The pink combined with the green makes for a very eyepleasing picture. And you are telling the story. So it's perfect!
