I have really mixed feelings about pageants like these, but still am a little stunned at the vitriol directed at Nina Davuluri who was crowned Sunday.

You can see the BuzzFeed story here, and it is the racists comments against this winner of Indian descent that I find appalling. I found this video response right on the money. Unless you are Native American, you came from someplace else people. Sigh.
