Been exploring capturing human faces this year, and am delighted with how this turned out. I feel like I really captured the essence I wanted.I am still drawing strangers. For some reason that seems to have much less pressure than attempting to capture the face of someone I know. Am working up the confidence to try it.
The background is an acrylic wash and the man is done with ink and watercolors.

Checha ur portraits r really gud.....voila!Remimnded me about that old ammavan we had near our house...do u remember him / That old guy who lived alone..just opposite our tharavadu...? He used to bathe every even....stark naked outside....u remember him? U shud try someone u know......u r gud now so give it a try ketto.
