Current creative projects

I've been working on a couple of things lately. First up, I decided to make some new inserts for my #travelersnotebook. I'm planning on using these for my #useupyourstash project.

My plan is to try various art journaling techniques in these journals while only using supplies currently in my stash.

Keeping with that theme, I pulled out a glue gun and tried my hand at making some glue stencils. Easy, fun, and addictive.

Journal pages

I continue to love my new DIY leather traveler's journal. I've been reading loads of graphic novels lately, and if I like the art, I try to recreate some of it in my journals. These pages were inspired by this book.

Rainy days are perfect for playing with art supplies. I am loving my new DIY leather traveler's notebook that I made last month. It just makes me happy.

The pen and watercolor art is inspired by Scott C. I recently flipped through his book, The Great Showdowns, and I quite like his whimsical style of drawing.

Vegas Travel Journal

One of the fun things about travel for me is making and filling a travel journal. I realized today that I had not shared a video flip of my completed Bound for Vegas journal that I kept during a family visit in Dec 2011.

Patterned paper

Am back home from Ann Arbor, Michigan, and no trip to A2 is complete without a visit to Hollander's. I could use one of everything in the store. Check out some of this patterned paper:

Wouldn't this pack be great for a seaside vacation journal?

Some fab black and white ones.

 Other fun designs.

They have an incredible selection, and I ended up buying some to add to my stash. Will share later.
