Highly Prized - el Morro

I love forts. Maybe it is because I grew up exploring Fort Jesus and it captured my imagination. It was like history coming alive - forts built in strategic spots around the world to secure trade routes and provide the first line of defense to attack from the sea. So highly prized.

I visit forts every chance I get, and the beautiful el Morro did not disappoint.
